William Harrison

A graveside memorial service and internment for William "Bubba" Harrison, age 76, of Brashear will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 2 pm at Brashear Cemetary (weather permitting).
Bubba passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Advanced Health and Rehab Center of Garland. Bubba had a history of heart disease and underwent major surgery on June 3, 2019 to have a pacemaker installed. He fought valiantly for five months to regain his strength but was ultimately called home.

Bubba was born on May 22, 1943 in Brashear, TX to William Herschel Harrison, Sr. and Ina Ruth Daniels Harrison. He was fortunate to have a large, loving family consisting of 7 sisters and 1 brother. The Harrison family moved to Dallas in approximately 1950. Bubba was an incredibly talented and skilled master carpenter and builder and spent most of his life in Dallas and then Irving before deciding to return to his hometown of Brashear in 1999.

Bubba is survived by his daughter, Cindy Reeder of Coppell; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Coenraad, Lauren Shelley and Shelby Forster; five great-grandchildren, Caroline Coenraad, Brooks Coenraad, Bailey Shelley, Berkley Shelley and Camden Forster and two sisters, Patsy Harrison and Phyllis Burnett.
