Wanda Smith

A memorial service for Wanda Lee Smith, age 77, of Cumby, will be held at First Baptist Church in Cumby at 2:00 p.m. , Friday, May 28, 2010, with Rev. Billy Capps officiating. No formal visitation is planned.
Wanda Lee Smith passed away Tuesday morning, May 25, 2010, at Carriage House Manor. She was born in Cumby on February 15, 1933, the daughter of Armon Childers and Annie Mae (Boatright) Childers. She married John William Cook; he preceded her in death. She married Quincy Smith; he preceded her in death. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Cumby.
Survivors include: son, Johnny Cook of Irving; sister, Merle Bunch of Pottsboro; brother, Jack Childers of Seagoville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rachael Pediford and Lisa Gail Lane; two sons, Ricky Lynn Cook and James Ray Cook; three brothers, Floyd Childers, Arvil Childers and Marvin Childers and sister, Thelma Angel.
