Wanda Crump

October 19, 1942 — June 9, 2019

Funeral Service for Wanda Crump, age 76, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Martin Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Leathers officiating and Gary Jayne assisting.  Interment will follow at Martin Springs Cemetery.  There will be no formal visitation.  Mrs. Crump passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital.

Wanda was born on October 19, 1942 to Theryon and Annie Rowe. She graduated from Ness City High School, Ness City Kansas in 1960.  She married Alfred Schwartzkopf in 1961 and two children were born from this union, Kim and Kirk.  She later married Bobby Crump in Oklahoma City in 1983.  Wanda loved to travel with her husband, Bob while he was trucking all over the United States.  She also enjoyed visits with her family.  Wanda had many hobbies including, cooking, planting flowers and gardening.  She loved to paint, especially working with stained and etching glass.  Wanda enjoyed showing off her paintings in many art shows and won many 1st and 2nd place ribbons.  She loved to collect paints and dolls and belonged to a local doll club for years.  She also had a passion for her dogs and cats. Wanda was a nurse and homemaker as well as a member of Martin Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Kim Snider and husband, David of Clinton, OK; son, Kirk Schwartzkopf and wife, Robin of Ness City, KS; step-daughter, Debbie Hamilton and husband, Neil of Kilgore, TX; sister, Arlene Jayne and husband, Gary of Springfield, MO; brothers, Wayne Rowe of Tulsa, OK and Gene Rowe and wife, Nila of Derby, KS; grandchildren, Lindsey Mayfield, Laci Snider, KaeCee Schwartzkopf, Darby Schwartzkopf; step-grandchildren, Nathan Scheopner and Christian Scheopner; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Mayfield, Axel Mayfield and Tinsley Barron; many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Janetta Rowe.
