A funeral service for Wanda "Jean" Allan, age 82, of Mesquite, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Sufai Avula officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Eric Davis, Cris Rodenis, Ryan Allan, Riley Allan, Steve Martin, Mike Martin, David Martin, Ben Allan and Zach Allan serving as pallbearers. A rosary/visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Wanda "Jean" Allan passed away Wednesday evening, April 10, 2013 at Waterford Independent Living in Mesquite. She was born in Greenville, the daughter of William Mack and Jesse Jewell Compton. She married George W. Allan in Greenville on July 31, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was a secretary and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Brian Allan of Mesquite and John Allan and wife Suzana of Garland; two daughters, Judy Martin and husband, Stephen of Argyle and Deborah Davis of McKinney, grandchildren, Eric Davis, Judy White, Stephen Martin, David Martin, Mike Martin, Riley Allan, Kaylann Allan, Chelsea DuParc, Ryan Allan, Ben Allan and Zach Allan and three great-grandchildren, Christopher and Maika Rodenis and Jack Davis. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
