W. Dunn

A graveside service for W. G. Dunn, age 74, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at City Cemetery, with Rev. Chad Calhoun and Rev. John Odom officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Woody Clark, Calvin Fleming, Donnie Berry, T. N. Gregory, James Allen and Mike Mabe. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Allen, Dr. Charles Jones and Dr. Caulderone. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
W. G. Dunn passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Commerce on December 29, 1937, the son of V. G. Dunn and Lillian Jewel (Bullard) Dunn. He married Lou Nell Nabors in Hugo, Oklahoma on April 19, 1958; she survives. He was a retired machinist for Flowserve and a member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Kerry Suggs and husband, Joe, Sharon Townsend and fiancé, Brent Brown, Gina Smith and husband, Keith; son, Michael Glenn Dunn and wife, Angie, all of Sulphur Springs; brother, James Dunn and wife, Barbara, of Mesquite; sister, Cleo Edlin of Ladonia; grandchildren, Angela Robb and Mike, Blake Weir and fiancé, Katie, Dustin Dunn, Joshua Dunn, Colby Suggs, Kyle Newman and Brooke McGee and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie Robb. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Poe and Virginia Shay and granddaughter, Chelsea Townsend.
