Troy Tanton

Graveside services for Troy Wayne Tanton, age 62 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Restlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Damon Wilks and Rev. Lee Huff officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home

Mr. Tanton passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler. He was born in Sulphur Springs on August 3, 1952, the son of N.W. "Ned" and Nell (Terrell) Tanton. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: mother, Nell Tanton of Sulphur Springs; son, Kevin Tanton and wife, Sara of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Jenny Staples and husband, Mark of Palestine; sisters, Linda Gant of Coupland and Carolyn Barrett of Sulphur Springs; brother, Paul Tanton of Lancaster; grandchildren, Tori Staples, Trevin Staples, Audrey Tanton and Macy Tanton.

He was preceded in death by his father.
