Troy Scalf

Funeral services for Troy Scalf, 77, of Cumby will 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Cumby with Rev. Billy Capps officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunny Point Cemetery with Chopper Jenkins, William Good, Robert Roper, Nicky Ray Scalf, Jimmy Don Simmons, Douglas Simmons, and David Tremor serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6 till 8 pm, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Cumby.

Troy Allen Scalf passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009 at his residence. He was born February 14, 1932 in Maytoy , OK , the son of Walter Allen and Leila Mae Davis Scalf. He married Ina Lou Young on May 11, 1951 in Collin County , TX. She survives. Troy was a retired aircraft mechanic, and was member of First Baptist Church of Cumby. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Kathryn Marie Jenkins & husband, Buster of Lone Oak; three sons, Leonard Allen Scalf , Tommy Dean Scalf & wife Kathy, all of Lone Oak, and Rory Clay Scalf of Tioga; three sisters, Almeda Poe of Fairfield, Shirley Kimball of Sherman, and Bobbie Simmons of Barry; brother, Leonard Scalf of Marlow,OK; grandchildren, Chopper Jenkins, Karri Jenkins, Robert Roper, Sheri Scalf, John Roper, Cherie Thomas, Cameron Scalf, Allison Scalf, Danielle Scalf, Nick Scalf, and Josh Scalf; and Thirteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lillian McCormack, Joyce Osburn and Lois Nordrum.
