Funeral services for Travis Lee Wyly, age 69, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2010, with Rev. Don Tinsley and Brother Gary Thompson officiating. A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will follow at Rockdale Cemetery, with Randy Hall, Mark Baker, Joe Thomas, Harold Mays, James Parmer, James Harrington, Ronny Burchfield and Bubba Fields serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Winburn Milk employees and Ballard drivers, C. D. Ballard, Sid Davis, Jimmy Daugherty and Chuck Vititow. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Travis Lee Wyly passed away Wednesday morning, March 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Pickton on February 2, 1941, the son of Allie Frank Wyly and Ruby Ruth (Kerr) Wyly. He married Judy Lawson in Reilly Springs, on September 9, 1967; she survives. Mr. Wyly was employed with Pratt Packing for 22 years and employed with Winburn Milk for 23 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Scott Wyly and wife, Kylie, of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Steven Dale Wyly and wife, Beverly, of Rowlett; two daughters, Melissa Ann Titsworth and husband, Tony, of Sulphur Springs and Miranda Lee Stephenson and husband, Chad, of Campbell; two brothers, James Howard Wyly and wife, Mary Ellen, of El Paso and Ottis Haskel Wyly of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Keith and Leslie Wyly. Whitnie and Randy McCoy, Cody Titsworth, Lincoln and Koben Wyly, Jenifer and Jessica Stephenson and great-grandchild, JulieAnn McCoy. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Alton Marcus Wyly and Billy Frank Wyly. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
