Tommie Horton

Funeral service for Tommie Horton, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leo Wisniewski officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery with Rory Parker, Rhys Parker, Henry Keller, Neal Stewart, Jody Allen and Rodney Keller serving as pallbearers and Dr. Don O’Neal, Leroy Pierce, Ronnie Stewart and Billy Daniels serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Horton passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Sulphur Springs.

Tommie was born on December 31, 1936 in Cumby to Thomas and Annie Price.  She married Billy Jack Horton on October 1, 1955.  Tommie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Jack; daughters, Debbie Horton and Dana Maddox; grandchildren, Harleigh Maddox and Rhys Parker; great grandson, Jaxon Maddox.

Tommie was preceded in death by her brother.
