uneral services for Tyhler Reppond, age 18, 0f Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at First Baptist Church, in Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Larry Baxley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Seymore Cemetery, with Price Orwosky, Neal Adams, Lance Reppond, Patrick Whitehead, Andy Ginn, Clint Traylor, John Holland, and Ryan Thompson serving as pallbeares. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sulphur Springs Class of 2007, motorcycle riding buddies, and the Volunteer Fire Department of Como.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Tyhler passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, following an automobile-motorcyle accident. He was born in Sulphur Springs, on June 24, 1989, the son of Stuart and Becky Harris Reppond. He was attending Paris Junior College and he was employed by Morning Star-Specialty Foods. He was a member of the Wildcat Football team, and was active in Wilcat TV and drama, earning All-Star Cast recognition as a member of the SSHS One-Act Play team. He earned a 2007 Thespian Scholarship. He was a member of the Como Volunteer Fire Department and Reilly Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his parents, Stuart & Becky Reppond; his fiance, Luz Hernandez; a brother, Hunter Reppond; a sister, Haleigh Reppond, all of Yantis; his grandparents, Don and Helen Reppond of Yantis, and Charles and Judy Harris of Como; and a great-grandmother, Odene Leonhart of Yantis.
