Thomas Quinn

Graveside service for Thomas Shane Quinn, age 42, of Como, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October, 25, 2017 at Old Union Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Texas with Bro.Roger Oney officiating and Jeff Jordan, Kyle Thompson, Dale Thompson, Rodney Morris, Mark Crouch and Don Farrand serving as pallbearers and Jesse McFarland and Brian Stegall serving as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow the graveside service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Quinn passed away Friday October 20, 2017 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs.

Shane was born on August 1, 1975 in Sulphur Springs, to Thomas Alvin Quinn and Melinda Joyce Oster. He married Laura Prewitt in Mount Pleasant, Texas on April 18, 2009. Shane worked in production at Saputo, was a league bowler in Sulphur Springs, did numerous volunteer work, and was of the Assembly of God faith.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; mom, Joyce Oster and husband Craig; dad, Thomas Quinn and wife Debbie; brothers, Jeremy Quinn of New Orleans, LA and Shannon Quinn and wife Sheila; sister, Mallory Quinn; mother in law, Debbie Prewitt; brother in law, Michael Prewitt of Mount Pleasant; sister in law, Jennifer Johnson and husband Don; nephew, Jeffrey Johnson of Mount Pleasant; niece, Rachel Johnson of Mount Pleasant; special best friends, Brian Stegall and Jesse McFarland; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents Ollie and Gertrude Thompson and Merrell and Lois Quinn; and father in law JL Prewitt.
