Thomas Potter

Graveside service for Thomas “T.D.” Potter, age 74, of Dike, TX will be held at 2:30P.M. Monday, June 14, 2021 at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Rev. Gary Jordan officiating. Pallbearers will include Brian Rodgers, Ronnie Miller, Cameron Matthews, Jesse Brown, Tonie Hurley and Emilio Ramirez, with Josh Key and Chris Morgan serving as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00P.M. Monday, June 14, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Potter passed away on June 11, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances -Sulphur Springs.

Thomas was born on November 21, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Charlie and Ruby (Debord) Potter. He married Eva Clifton on July 21, 1973 in Sulphur Springs. Thomas worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Eva; daughters LaNora Matthews and husband, Jeff of Como, Linda Blevins of Dike; four grandchildren, Katelyn Brown and husband, Jesse of Emory, Ashley Ramirez and husband, Emilio of Pickton, Tristan Morgan of Dike, Cameron Matthews and wife, Hannah of Como; three great grandchildren, Anthony Brown, Roxanne Brown and Emersyn Matthews; numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, son, Troy Potter and brother, Jerry Brumley.
