Theo Hodnett

A memorial service for Theo "Sis" Hodnett, 90, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, with Rev. Jimmy Barksdale officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Theo "Sis" Hodnett passed away Thursday evening, December 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born in the Greenpond Community May 3, 1921, the daughter of L. D. "Dewey" Coker and Mattie Lou (Harlow) Coker. She married John "Bob" Hodnett. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was a retired clerk from Brookshires.
Survivors include: four grandchildren, Mary Cortimilia, Tammy Hill, Renea Allen and Wayne Kimbrell; 12 great-grandchildren, Chase, Chad, Caleb, Caroline, Keisha, James, Kayleigh, Tyler, Deven, Macee, Cayla and Logan and five great-great-grandchildren, Austin, Stacie, Camdyn, Chloe and Aden. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry J. Hodnett and brother, Forest Coker. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
