Funeral services for Thadis Fea Hudnall, age 87, will be conducted at
Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011,
with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn
Cemetery in Cooper with Doug Pillard, Michael King, Johnny King, Ben
King, Tory Peet, and Todd Gilbreath serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Thadis Fea Hudnall passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at
Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Electric Mills, MS
on February 17, 1923, the daughter of William Franklin and Jessie
Agnes Fea Goodwin. She married Wilson M. Hudnall in Dallas on March
19, 1943. He preceded her in death May 29, 2001. Ms. Hudnall was a
member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs. She also was a
member of the Silvertone Choir and Topps Group.
Survivors include: son, Lonnie Hudnall, and wife, Linda, of Sulphur
Springs; daughter, Dianne Pillard, and husband, Roy, of Celina; five
grandchildren, Lisa Morris, Laurie Creech, Doug Pillard, Jennifer
Peet, and Wendy Gilbreath; ten great-grandchildren, Michael King,
Johnny King, Ben King, Brittany Huckabee, Ryan Pillard, Jordan
Pillard, Cherish Peet, Destiny Peet, Greyson Peet, and Hannah
Gilbreath; thre great-great grandchildren, Sarah King, Abbie King,
and Hannah King; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister, Thelma Wiona Harlan.
