Sue Mason

Funeral services for Sue Mason, age 64, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2008, with Brother Tommy Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery , with Billy Logsdon, Neldon Smith, Jeremy Goldsmith, Heath Taylor, Eric Jackson, Tommy Mobley, Billy Mobley and Jason Smith serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Sue Mason passed away Monday afternoon, May 12, 2008, at her residence.

She was born in Childress, on October 16, 1943, the daughter of Forrest Pinkney and Lucille Jackson Stewart. She married Larry Kent Mason in Childress, on January 10, 1964; he survives. Mrs. Mason was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Tammie Smith and husband, Neldon, Vikki Harmon and Stephanie Logsdon and husband, Billy, all of Sulphur Springs; two sons, Bobby Scott, of Sulphur Springs, David Mason and wife, Denise, of New Hampshire; two sisters, Lavenia Mobley of Sulphur Springs and Barbara Large and husband, Ken, of Odessa; grandchildren, Candace Flanagan, Jason Smith, Robert Matthew and Mashari Scott, Aimee Mason, Kristina Goldsmith, Jennifer Felix, Mason and Peyton Virgel and Brayden Logsdon and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Jason and Michael Scott.
