Sherry Barnett

Funeral Services for Sherry Lynn Brown Barnett, age 70 of Mesquite, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherley Cemetery with Zachary Lewis, Justin Kendell, Kyle Kendell, Dylan ElChami, Tanner Clifton, Larry Ball, Tom Kendell, Nick Watson and Donnie Klein serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are City of Mesquite co-workers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Barnett died on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Medical Center of Plano. She was a retired secretary for the City of Mesquite.
She was born on December 2, 1943, the daughter of Willie B. and Oleta Littleheart Brown in Hattiesburg, MS. She married James Lloyd Barnett on November 30, 1993 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Scott Fewell of Mesquite; daughter-in-law, Neva Ball and husband Larry of Cedar Creek Lake; daughters, Cheryl Kendell and husband, Tom of San Antonio, Brena Conley of Hughes Springs and Jamie Klein and husband, Donnie of Frisco; brother, Alton Watson and wife, Sharon of Fate; nephew, Nick Watson of Frisco; niece, Amy McLevish and husband, Peter of Frisco; grandchildren, Matthew Fewell, Maurie Lewis, Zachary Lewis, Baily Fewell, Justin Kendell, Maloree Kendell, Kyle Kendell, Tanner Clifton, Cash Conley, Dylan ElChami, Jordan Hanna, Olivia Klein and Mia-Simone Klein and great-niece, Raegan McLevish.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Lonnie Lewis.
