Shari Beers

Memorial service for Shari Beers of North Richland Hills will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Lantz officiating. Visitation will follow immediately after the service at 3:00, and inurnment will be at 4:00 at City Cemetery.  Sharon Rae Beers passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2019 at the age of 58 in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Shari was born Aug. 26,1960 to Bernie and Fran Beers. She was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and Texas A&M University-Commerce, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Explore division, and even took care of people like Billie Moon, an elderly friend.

Shari had spent her life dealing with people in sales of autos, boats, real estate and lots of love. If you had a problem or concern, Shari was the one to call. If she couldn’t help you, she knew someone who could. Your life came first in her book of life. She was a loving light to all who met her. Her two French bulldogs will attest to her love.

Shari was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January 2019. Surgery was able to remove 90% of the tumor and the rest by chemotherapy and radiation. In April 2019, Dr. Salem declared her free of any cancer; however, other health issues had set in, which turned her health into a downward spiral.

Shari is survived by her spouse, Jodie Utter; parents, Bernie and Fran Beers; brother, Brad Beers and spouse Kylene Neal Beers; sister, Ellie Moore and spouse Mark Moore; niece and nephews, Meredith Beers, Baker Beers and John Moore.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Brentley B. Beers.
