Shannon Crowell, Jr.

A memorial service for Shannon Crowell, Jr., age 75, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Changed Life Church at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013, with Rev. Clyde Warner officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Shannon Crowell, Jr. passed away Sunday night, February 24, 2013, at Rock Creek Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Dallas on March 11, 1937, the son of Shannon Crowell, Sr. and Sarah (Laxson) Crowell. He married Jo Ann "Jodi" Davis in Dallas on August 13, 1963; she survives. He was a retired master machinist tool and dye maker and he was a member of Changed Life Church.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Sonjia W. Crowell, Wadena S. Maksoud, both of Sulphur Springs and Laioni Macomber of Grandbury; son, Shannon Steele of Decatur; two brothers, David Mullins of Mesquite and Billy Wayne Mullins of Oak Cliff and grandchildren, Michaella Maksoud, Rebekah Maksoud and Tabetha Maksoud. He was preceded in death by his parents.
