Scott Price

Funeral services for Scott Price, age 37, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008, with Keith Kilmer and Chris Shelby officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs, with Jay Price, Clay Price, Tate Price, John McNeil, Scotty Reed, and Mark Sustaire serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Scott Price passed away in Hopkins County, Wednesday evening, May 28, 2008. He was born in Sulphur Springs, the son of Billy Glenn and Marilyn Lynn Tatom Price, on July 26, 1970. He married Kimberly Johnson, in Selden, on April 26, 1997; she survives. Mr. Price graduated from East Texas State University and worked as a dairyman.

Other survivors include: son, Colton Price, of Sulphur Springs; father, Billy Price, and wife, Janet, of Sulphur Springs; mother, Lynn Litzel, and husband, Phil, of Plano; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kristi and Brandon Brewer, Paige and Jeff Trollinger, and Kacie Price, all of Sulphur Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Amy Litzel, of Garland; grandparents, Farris and Elizabeth Tatom and Glenna Price, all of Sulphur Springs; aunt and uncle, Roger and Nan Price, of Sulphur Springs; special aunt, Vera Harrington, of Sulphur Springs; and special cousins, Jay Price, Clay Price, Tate Price, and Tia Kirkpatrick, all of Sulphur Springs.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Pizzini Price. Memorials may be made to the Scott Price Scholarship Fund at City National Bank.
