Sarah Lundy

Graveside service for Sarah Caudle Lundy, age 88, of Sachse, will be at 11 am on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Ridgeway Cemetery with Pastor Tracy Dophied officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Lundy peacefully passed away Friday evening, October 15, 2021 at Landmark of Plano Rehabilitation Center in Plano, TX.

Sarah Caudle Lundy was born May 27, 1933 in Cotton Valley, LA to William “Chet” Caudle and Inez (Kersey) Caudle. She married Billy Earl Lundy on October 10, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK. Mrs. Lundy was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.

Mrs. Lundy is survived by her daughters, Marcia Klein and husband, Dale of Helotes, TX and Cindy Lundy of Flower Mound, TX; sister-in-law, Peggy Barnett of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Erin Pearce and husband, Ben of Rowlett, TX and Heather Schraudt and husband, George of Seaford, VA; great-grandchildren, Alexander Schraudt and Giulianna Schraudt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William Caudle; and sister, Martha Heuer.
