A graveside service for Sandra Fay George, age 57, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Forest Academy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Sandra Fay George passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital , in Tyler. She was born in Cooper, the daughter of Blane and Margaret George. She married Kaywood Abernathy. He preceded her in death in 2012. She was a store clerk for Joe Bob's Convenience Store and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: daughter, Kala George; father, Blane George, both of Como; sister, Peggy Shelton of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Charlie George of Pickton and Bobby George of Como. She was preceded in death by her mother. Memorials may be made to Forest Academy Cemetery Association, 229 West Oaks Circle, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.
