Sammy Fouse

Funeral services for Sammy D. (Sonny) Fouse, age 66, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2009, with Brother B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
Sammy D. Fouse passed away at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, Wednesday evening, August 5, 2009. He was born in Commerce, on January 4, 1943, the son of R. E. Fouse and Ruthie Mae (Siers) Fouse. Mr. Fouse was a machinist and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two daughters, Samantha Buford and husband, James, of Grand Prairie, Wendy Beckham of Mississippi; three sons, Tony Fouse of Sulphur Springs, Robert Fouse of Killeen, Timothy Fouse of Washington; sister, Sue Perry of Waco; brother, Marty Fouse of Sulphur Springs; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. Special thanks to Carriage House Manor and Dimple McPherson.
