Sally Roushey

Funeral services for Sally Roushey, age 68, of Mesquite, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Pickton United Methodist Church. Rev. Henry Suche will officiate.

Interment will follow services in the New Pickton Cemetery, with Joey Roushey, Paul Michael Pierson, Ron Angerer, and Cody Stutts serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 t0 7:00, Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Ms. Roushey passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Medical City Hospital, in Mesquite. She was born in Pickton, on April 22, 1939, the daughter of Joseph A. and Idabell Templeton Minter. She married James W. Roushey, in Dallas, on August 1, 1955. He survives.

Mrs. Roushey was a secretary for Eckrich Sausage Company and was of the Methodist faith.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Sherry Angerer, of Jacksonville, Florida, Sharon Roushey of Stephenville, and Vicky Roushey of Mesquite; a son, Stephan Roushey of Bay City; two brothers, Dr. Joe Minter of Sulphur Springs and Tom Minter of Rowlett; a sister, Barbara Shields of Grapevine; and grandchildren, Jamie Pierson, Paul Michael Pierson, Whitney, Haley and Brodie Roushey, Jacklyn Horn, Joey Roushey, Sally Robertson, James Scott Robertson, and Tori Ingram.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Roushey, and a sister, Mary Ann Pleasant.
