Rue Weatherbee

Rue Weatherbee of Cumby passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Hopkins County on February 8, 1922, the daughter of Wilson Hendric Edwards and Laura Ree (Russell) Edwards. She married Claude Weatherbee at Brashear on November 17, 1942. He preceded her in death in 2010. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: son, Stan Weatherbee; daughter, Regina Thatcher; grandchildren, David Weatherbee, Josh Weatherbee, Angela Morgan, all of Cumby, Kara Monaco of Grapevine and Laura Powers of Toledo, Ohio and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Edwards and William Wilson Edwards and three sisters, Francis Grayson, Marjorie Davis and Ruth Wallace.
