Ruby Dickson

Funeral services for Ruby "Irene" Dickson, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jimmy Henry will officiate.

Interment will follow services in the Greenview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 208, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dickson passed away on Friday morning, April 11, 2008, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Purdon, on September 26, 1923. She married Oscar Leon "O.L." Dickson, in Dallas. He preceded her in death in 1987.

She was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and had worked there for 30 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: a daughter, Susie Bryant and husband, Rodney, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Randi Dykes and Chandra Saxton; and a great-granddaughter, Briana Dykes.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and her parents.
