Ruby Causey

Funeral services for Ruby Alline Causey, age 97 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Judge Robert Newsom officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with James K. Bassham, Leroy Cox, Matthew Smith, Roy Herman, Jr., Billy Joe Dorner and Mike Smith serving as pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation.

Ruby passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Carriage House Manor. She was born on February 26, 1918 in Dike the daughter of Reginald Mohun and Allie (Hoover) Johnson. She married A.J. Causey on December 15, 1936 in Hopkins County. She was the former secretary of Conner Cemetery Association, member of the Sulphur Bluff Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Gary Causey; five brothers, Noble Johnson, Claude Johnson, Alvie Johnson, Marlin Johnson and Coris Johnson; six sisters, Murriel Hunt, Velma Holt, Blanch Johnson, Zella Sanders, Joyce Johnson and Gay Jones.
