Roy Singleton

Memorial service for Roy Singleton, age 61, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Singleton passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Roy Allen Singleton was born on May 15, 1963 in Camp Pendleton, California to George and Emma Lee (Heath) Singleton. He married Cathy Newsome in Sulphur Springs, Texas on April 10, 1982. Roy owned and operated an Office Supply Repair store. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling to tropical areas, and enjoying his pets. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Roy was of the Baptist faith.

Roy is survived by his wife, Cathy Singleton of Sulphur Springs, Texas; father, George Singleton; sons, Lance Singleton (Emma Krauss) of Austin, Texas and Heath Singleton (Cass) of Waynesville, Missouri; grandchildren, Makenna, Amelia, and Noah Singleton; brother, Art Singleton of Austin, Texas; sister, Jackie Carter (Curtis) of Wentworth, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lee Singleton.
