Roy Becket

Roy Becket, age 89, of Sulphur Springs, passed away Sunday morning, June 8, 2008, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Armstrong Mills, Ohio, on May 1, 1919, the son of James and Myrtle Jackson Beckett. He married Dorothy Dunfee. She preceded him in death in 1969. He then married Bessie M. Mellott. She preceded him in death in 2008.
Survivors include: son, Donnie Beckett of Cambridge, Ohio; four daughters, Margaret Wilcox of Dover, Ohio, Janice Larrick of Cambridge, Ohio, Nancy Voorhies of Lock 17, Ohio and Sarah Elvin of Brashear; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, David Beckett.
