Rose Franklin

Funeral services for Rose Franklin, age 84, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Cherry Grove Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009, with Rev. Randy Seals and Rev. H. B. Nash officiating. Interment will follow at North Caney Cemetery, with Mrs. Franklin's grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Rose Franklin passed away at Carriage House Manor, Tuesday afternoon, July 21, 2009. She was born in Fannin County, August 17, 1924, the daughter of John Henry Harris and Lucinda (Cambell) Harris. She married Zebia Dee Franklin at Hopkins County, on August 14, 1943. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Franklin was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Heroines of Jerico.
