Robert Prince

A funeral service for Gerry Prince , age 51, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 7, 2012, with Rev. Wayne Scott and Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery, with Bryan Prince, Blake Prince, Rusty Branch, Kevin Keen, David Tubbs, Jack Duke, John Dooley and Johnny Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gentzler Electric employees. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Gerry Prince passed away Thursday afternoon, October 4, 2012 at his residence, with his family by his side. He was born in Greenville, on April 24, 1961, the son of Calvin Scottie Prince and Jo Ann (Ferrell) Prince. He was an electrician for Gentzler Electric Company in Dallas and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two sons, Bryan Keith Prince of Sulphur Springs and Robert Blake Prince of Garland; daughter, Amy Michele Prince of Balch Springs; his parents; fiancé, Carla Beavers; stepdaughter, Darby Beavers, both of Sulphur Springs and grandchildren, Alyssa Jhade Alexander and Isaac Taylor Alexander. He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin DeWayne Prince and grandparents, Homer and Pearl Ferrell and Charlie and Maggie Prince.
