Robert Glover

Funeral service for Robert “Bob” Glover, age 79, of Como, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richard Teer officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Forest Academy Cemetery with Caleb Frazier, Colton Frazier, Jason Frazier, Dakota Hawkins, Greg Hawkins, and Jon Humphrey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Turk Morgan and Herbert Anderson. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Glover passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Carriage House Manor.

Robert “Bob” Glover was born October 1, 1938 in Como, TX, the son of Andrew Jackson Glover and Mary Louise (Hooten) Glover. He married Mary Jo Humphrey in Oklahoma on April 14, 1961. Mr. Glover served in the Army National Guard and worked as a Welding Engineer for Cooper-Cameron.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Glover, of Como; daughter, Ruth Hawkins and husband, Greg, of Magnolia, TX; grandson, Dakota Hawkins; and sister, Eva Phillips.

Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jennifer Lee Glover.
