Richard Reese

Funeral services for Richard Eugene Reese, age 81 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Triumph Christian Church with Rev. Kevan Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Travis Carr, Ricky Russell, Robert Reese, John Jetton, Russell Morris and Jason Davis serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Richard passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1934 in Alba, the son of James Bailey and Minnie May (Hazelwood) Reese. He married Hazel Morris on November 15, 1965 in Dallas. He was a retired diesel mechanic for oversized machinery.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Richard Don Reese of Phoenix, AZ, David Clements and wife, Tracy of Sulphur Springs, Dale Massey of Thompson, N.D.; daughter, Virginia Desovza of Sulphur Springs; twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael W. Reese, James Wesley Reese, Steven Dwight Clements, Kenneth Lee Clements; grandson, David Wayne Clements and granddaughter, Natasha Wheeler.
