Raymond McCaig

Funeral services for Raymond McCaig, age 80, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Wesley United Methodist Church, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012, with Rev. Brian Bosworth officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Raymond McCaig passed away at Sunny Springs Nursing Home, Saturday morning, March 10, 2012. He was born in Comanche County, Oklahoma on July 2, 1931, the son of Clarence Joseph McCaig and Mamie Elizabeth (Henson) McCaig. He married Dorothy Eveleen Maples at Waurika, Oklahoma on August 31, 1952; she survives. He was retired from a soil conservation service and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Professional AG Works. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Other survivors include: two sons, Tommy Joe McCaig and wife, Pat, of Milpitas, California, David Ray McCaig and wife, Lisa, of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Vickie Jenkins and husband, Randy, of Sulphur Springs and Tara Wisdom and husband, Rodney, of Weaver; two brothers, Floyd McCaig and wife, June, and Frank McCaig and wife, Ann, both of Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Angela Blanchard, Jennifer Gaddy, Lacy Smith, Landon McCaig, Leslie Wisdom, Lexi McCaig, Sabrina Mercado and Shantel Hernandez and great-grandchildren, Marcos Hernandez, Gabriel Mercado, Hunter Blanchard, Kylie Blanchard, Harper Smith and Hazely Smith. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul McCaig and Dub McCaig. Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church and/or Terrific Tuesdays % First United Methodist Church.
