Ray Bearden

Funeral services for Ray Dan Bearden, age 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2009, with Shane Carrington officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Mike Flippin, Jeff Tanton, Marlin Jones, Tony Murray, David Archer, Jeremy Froneberger, Rick Murray, and Steve Gibralter serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ray Dan Bearden passed away Monday morning, June 8, 2009, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. He was born in Sulphur Springs, on August 1, 1943, the son of R. D. Bearden and Odessa (Harris) Bearden. Mr. Bearden was a retired machine operator with Tyco. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include: daughter, Kim Benton of Sulphur Springs; son, Chris Bearden of Como; mother, Odessa Bearden of Sulphur Springs; brother, Harris Bearden of Mesquite; grandchildren, Britnie Bearden, Peyton Bearden, Haley Benton and Michael Benton. He was preceded in death by his father.
