Ralph Campbell

Funeral services for Ralph "Eddie" Campbell, age 56, of Tyler and formerly of Sulphur Springs, are pending with Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Interment will follow services at Pleasant Grove North Cemetery, with Cory Dodd, Jason Dodd, Kevin Hollinsworth, Rodney Fykes, Jerry Durham, Steve Campbell, Jr., Ace Hamner, and Cletus Brown serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Campbell passed away on Wednesday morning, April 16, 2008, at Hospice of East Texas, in Tyler. He was born in Sulphur Springs, on January 26, 1952, the son of J.R. and Margaret Wesson Campbell. He married Cathey Lynn Dowell, in Arlington, on August 15, 1998. She survives.

Mr. Campbell was a social worker for Pyramid Health Care and a member of Pollard United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include: his mother, Margaret Wesson Campbell; two sons, Cory Dodd of Frisco and Jason Dodd of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, James R. Campbell of Brownwood and Steve Campbell of Plano; and a sister, Pam Hollingsworth of Sulphur Springs.

He was preceded in death by his father.
