Phoebe Lee

Private family graveside service for Phoebe “Cookie” Lee, age 59, of Sulphur Springs will be held at East Caney Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.  Mrs. Lee passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler.

Phoebe Ann was born on December 30, 1960 to Louie B Person Sr and Hulene Bell Person.  She married Marsel Lee on July 19, 2003 and he preceded her in death in 2019.  Phoebe was a member of Mitchell Chapel Church of God In Christ.

She is survived by her children, Ashley Brown, Terrance Wheat, Almeka Franklin and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Skylar, Jaycion, Hezekiah, Princeton, Elijiah, Logan, Noah; brothers and sisters, Louie B Person Jr and wife, June, Gyvorn Shamlin, Linda Adams, Terry Person, Melvin Person and wife, Charlotte, her two aunts, Loretta Biggs and Eddie Hicks.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her father and husband.
