Penny Coker

Funeral services for Penny Coker, age 55, of Yantis will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 2, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Jimmy Gulledge and Bro. Lloyd Cashion officiating. Interment will follow in Greenpond Cemetery with Greenpond Baptist Church Men's Sunday School Class serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6 till 8 pm, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Penny J. Coker passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at East Texas Medical Center in Quitman. She was born February 2, 1954 in Winnsboro, the daughter of Paul and Pauline Moss Browning. She married Michael Coker in Longview on December 17, 1973. He survives. She was homemaker and Gospel Singer. Penny was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church .

Other survivors include: son, Richard Coker of Yantis; daughter, Misty Coker of Yantis; two grandchildren, Shayna Garrett and Landon Garrett; three sisters, Linda Thomas of Mineola, Sherry Gilliam of Tyler , and Christine Browning of Sulphur Springs; brother, Roger Browning of Winnsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sue Garland, and one brother, Bow Browning.
