Peggy Burns Harland Rohrer, 87, of Sulphur Springs, TX passed away after a long illness on May 1, 2019. She was born in Miller Grove, Texas on March 14, 1932 to Johnie and Virgie Johnson Burns. Peggy married John Harland in 1949. They had two children and lived in Roaring Springs, Texas, and Lookeba, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma she taught Cosmetology. She was divorced in 1966 and moved to Commerce, Texas. There she met and married Dr. Charles Rohrer in 1976. Peggy was a long-time owner of Cinderella Beauty Shop and Peggy’s Showplace in Commerce.
Peggy was of the Presbyterian faith. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Charlie, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a caring, generous person and a lovely lady.
She is survived by her two children, Angela Harland (daughter) and Linzy Harland (son), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, a nephew and a host of friends.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dr. Charles Rohrer and her two brothers, Jim Burns and Keith Burns.

Graveside services will be held at Miller Grove Cemetery on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.
