Paul Lawson

A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will be conducted for Paul Lawson, age 82, of Sulphur Springs, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012. There will be no formal visitation.
Paul Lawson passed away Wednesday evening, March 14, 2012, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. He was born in Hopkins County, July 8, 1929, the son of William Clark Lawson and Alma Irene (Crum) Lawson. He was a retired plumber and he was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include: three sons, Alvin Wayne Lawson, Paul Alvin Lawson, Jr. and Joe Brian Lawson; sister, Betty Lawson; brother, Bobby Lawson and one grand-daughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell Lawson and Floyd Lawson and two sisters, Ruby Gray and Dorothy Coker.
