Patricia Crowder

Graveside service for Patricia M. Crowder, age 93, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at I.O.O.F Cemetery with B.J. Teer officiating. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Crowder, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs.

Patricia was born to Burl C.Thomas and Elizabeth Francis Slate Thomas on May 19, 1924 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She married James Wesley Crowder in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 4, 1946.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Dixon and Jerry Gregg, Linda K. Crowder; son, James Edward Crowder and wife, Emma; sisters, Sally (Gladys) Lee Gallimore and Mary Hiatt

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, James Wesley Crowder on January 19, 2009; sisters Beatrice Louise Combs and Francis Lee; brothers Baby Boy Thomas, James (Pete) Oscar Thomas and Floyd C. Thomas;

The family request no plants, flower or food due to special circumstances . Memorials may be made to Hopkins County Genealogical Society or Meal-A-Day.
