Pat Penn

Memorial service for Pat Penn, age 76, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Shannon Oaks Church with Jonathan McGraw officiating.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Colby Parker, Brian Tubbs, Draven Trujillo, Dante Trujillo, Liam Dorris and Fred McCoy. Mr. Penn passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital.

Pat Penn was born on January 11, 1944 in Lufkin, Texas to Claude Almer and Dezzie Ruth (Peavy) Penn.  He married Nancy Reynolds in Irving, TX on September 16, 1978.  During his youth, Pat was a proud member and alumni of FFA and was also President of the Young Farmers.  Pat was a retired school teacher and a member of Shannon Oaks Church.

Pat is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter Amanda Lilith Lee Penn-Dorris and husband, D. Liam of Bloomington, Indiana; grandchildren, Draven Andrew Trujillo and Dante Keith Trujillo; brothers, Billy Penn and wife, Linda of Dallas, Mike Penn and wife, Fern of Lufkin, Joe Dan Penn and wife, Sandi of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Gail Smith of Sulphur Springs; brother-in-law, Fred McCoy of Sulphur Springs; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda McCoy.
