Overtra Williams

A graveside service for Ovetra Sharp Williams, age 83, of Nacogdoches, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Pine Forest Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Hall officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Scott, Bodie Scott, Ryan Scott, Rustin Scott, Tommy Shelton and Duane Sprague. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ovetra Sharp Williams passed away at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Nacogdoches, Friday morning, January 1, 2010. She was born in Hopkins County, on May 25, 1926, the daughter of Grady Sharp and Flarra Lee (Parnell) Sharp. She married William Roy Scott. He preceded her in death. She married Hollis Wayne Williams. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two sons, Roger Scott and wife, Llea and Dale Ray Scott, all of Nacogdoches; sister, Elouise Fuller and her daughter, Martha Shelton, both of Stephenville; grandchildren, Jennifer Scott, Joshua Scott, Bodie Scott, Llana Scott, Ryan Scott, Rustin Scott and Sean Scott and great-grandchildren, Christian, Gavin, Connor, Averie and Lela. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland Sharp and Orland Sharp and two sisters, Bonnie Sharp and Gary Sanders.
