Opal Watson

April 21, 1929 — December 16, 2013

A graveside service for Opal Miller Watson, age 84, of Princeton will be conducted at Ridgeway Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013, with Dr. Stan Fike officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Huddleston, Blake Huddleston, Coby Owen and Ricky Gillespie. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Opal Miller Watson passed away Monday evening at Villa Asuncion Assisted Living in Princeton. She was born in Ridgeway on April 21, 1929, the daughter of Charley James Miller and Nanny Lucille Booker Miller. She was a retired assembler at Texas Instruments and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Edwards and husband Larry of Sulphur Springs and Thresa Owen and husband Don of Princeton; sister, Nell Parker of Van Alstyne; grandchildren, Brad Huddleston, Blake Huddleston, Nicole Gillespie and Coby Owen and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Gary Leon Watson. Memorials may be made to Ridgeway Cemetery Association.
