Norman Stephens

Funeral arrangements for Norman "Buddy" Stephens, age 68, of Sulphur Bluff, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2008, with Keith Kilmer officiating. Interment will follow at Nelta Cemetery, with Trey Clark, Joe Singel, Chris Allen, Chad Stephens, Brad Stephens and George Nichols serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Norman "Buddy" Stephens passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 15, 2008, at Carriage House Manor. He was born in Hopkins County, on November 22, 1939, the son of Hershel and Opal Stapp Stephens. He was an aeronomical engineer and was retired from E-Systems. He served in the United States Army.
Survivors include: two daughters, Stephanie Stephens of Dike and Heather Clark of Mt. Vernon; son, John Stephens of Buffalo; two brothers, Ronnie Stephens of Sulphur Bluff and Mervis Stephens of Euless and grandchildren, Chris Allen, Alic Clark, Addison Clark and Callie Clark.
