Nelda Green

Funeral Services for Nelda Faye Green, age 68 of Sulphur Springs, will be held Monday, July 25, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Chambler Dennis officiating and David Cook assisting. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Ty Shane Brumfield, Jr., Ryan Brumfield, Josh Cockrum, Jordan Cockrum, Jacob Ball and Charlie Brumfield serving as pallbearers. Visitation was held Sunday, July 24, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nelda passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 27, 1948 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Buford Clinton and Margaret Allene (Hammerick) Green. She was a Customer Service Manager at Walmart and a member of Bible Way Lighthouse Church.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Brumfield and wife Cindy, of Tulsa; Dustin Brumfield and wife Pat, of Texarkana; Jason Brumfield and wife Wendy, of Waxahachie; daughter, Kim Ball and husband Phillip, of Sulphur Springs; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Moore and husband Tommy and Dora Patterson and husband Harlan, both of Sulphur Springs; and brother, Tim Green and wife Kim, of Yantis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ty Shane Brumfield; and brother, B.C. Green.
