Nancy Emerson

Graveside service for Nancy Emerson, age 89, of Sulphur Bluff will be held at 10:30 A.M on Thursday,  July 30, 2020 at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Buddy Gore and Ina Gore officiating.  There will be no formal visitation.  Mrs. Emerson passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Honey Grove Nursing Home.

Nancy was born on December 11, 1930 to William and Elzada Rawlinson.  She married L Roy Emerson on June 28, 1950.  She was a member of Sulphur Bluff Baptist Church.  Nancy was a loving wife, and mother.   She was a friend to everyone who knew her and a good cook.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Schultz and husband, Chuck, Donna McDaniel and husband, Les, Roy Wayne Emerson and wife, Dianne; grandchildren, Christy Bolton, Stephanie Livingston, Jon Bolton and wife, Lindsey, Madison Emerson; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters Helen Starrett and husband, Doyle, Betty Alexander; numerous nieces and nephews; special family friends, Elaina, Emily and Eli McQueen.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Billy Martin Emerson, Larry Roy Emerson, Jerry Don Emerson; great grandson, Aaron Eddington; sisters, Inez Rawlinson, Christine Ford; brothers, W.T. Rawlinson, Charles James Rawlinson, Thomas Ivan Smothers.
