Murfayne Leewright

Funeral services for Murfayne Leewright, age 74, of Bonham, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 1;00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008, with Robert Elliott and Byrd McCracken officiating. Interment will follow at Conner Cemetery, with John Henry Beadle, Lawrence Bramlett, Billy Hager, Deryl Leewright, David Leewright and David Leewright, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Argenbright, Larry Gamblin and Jerry Lucky. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Murfayne Leewright passed away in the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Saturday afternoon, October 25, 2008. He was born in Dike, on May 10, 1934, the son of Delphia and Virgie Irons Leewright. Mr. Leewright was a retired maintenance worker for Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include: sister, Melba Jean Lockhart of Sulphur Springs; brother, Durwayne Leewright of Dike; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Norma Jean Leewright.
