Morty Lamb

A visitation for Morty Eugene (Nelson) Lamb, age 59 of Sulphur Springs will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013.
Morty Eugene (Nelson) Lamb passed away Friday, March1, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 12, 1953, the son of Sidney Elmer Nelson, Sr. and Peggy Lou (Stephens) Nelson. He was a retired exterminator and he was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: four sisters, Julia Brown and husband, Buddy, of Sulphur Springs, Mildred Rosser and husband, Bill, of Allen; Sharon Thomas and husband, Joe, of Sulphur Springs and Susan Nelson Ferguson and husband, Jeff, of Campbell and two brothers, Samuel Thomas Lamb and wife, Debbie and Sidney Elmer "Shorty" Nelson and wife, Tanya, all of Sulphur Springs and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to Homeless Vets.
