Molly King

A memorial service for Molly Ann King, will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Fisherman's Baptist Church in Emory. In honor of Molly, we will be wearing our favorite hat at this celebration of her life.
Molly passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, shortly after 11:00 p.m. to the sound of laughter and surrounded by her family. She was born July 6, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Katherine Allen and Milton Young. Molly loved visiting her friends at the Emory nursing home, painting and gardening. You could often find her outside pulling weeds out of her flowerbed. She also loved to go on trike rides with her husband, Fred King. Molly and Fred were married for 33 years. Molly was a member of the Mineola Art League, Rains County Garden Club and Fisherman's Baptist Church. Molly is survived by her husband, Fred King, of Emory; children, Georgia Salinas of Sulphur Springs, Mary Page of Cullen, Louisiana, Synthia Fultz of Haynesville, Louisiana, John Page of Springhill, Louisiana, Stephanie King and John David King of Minden, Louisiana; two brothers, Richard Young of Greenville and Layton Young of Ball, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren, Rachel Thomas, Whitney Vargas, Brittany Grosz, Cameron King, Patrick and Patricia Miller, Lacy and Molly Paul, Caitlin Salinas, Chandler Matteson, Jacob and Joshua King, Zack and Lucas Allison; five great-grandkids, Vaneza and Juan Vargas, Abigail and Ethan Thomas and Annabella King and two beloved dogs, Angel and Misty. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna
Villarreal.
