Mindy Nelson

Funeral service for Mindy Nelson, age 69 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 10:00A.M. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Honorary pallbearers include Larry McElvy, Jerry Chapman, Mark Nelson, Johnny Nordin, Cedric Standbridge, Morgan Standbridge and Aaron Woodruff. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Nelson passed away on August 11, 2022 at her residence.

Mindy was born on November 22, 1952 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Neal and Lourene (Cannon) Boggs. She married Dickie Nelson on December 16, 1974 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She worked as a banker and retired from Alliance Bank as V.P. of Compliance.

She is survived by her husband, Dickie; daughters, Erika Nelson and Magan Woodruff and husband, Aaron; sister, Ann McElvy and husband, Larry.

Mindy was preceded in death by her parents.
